Cheshire Cat (Yamato's Doll) Empty
PostSubject: Cheshire Cat (Yamato's Doll)   Cheshire Cat (Yamato's Doll) I_icon_minitimeFri Apr 29, 2011 1:57 am

Name: Cheshire Cat

Family: Illusion

Sealed state: A Tarot Card (Hierophant Arcana)

Release: The card levitates a bit above Yamato's hand and ignites in a black/violet flame. It will burn away and then disappear momentarily. A burst of the same-colored fire lights up a 3-foot diameter portal, where a skeleton will be expelled as if randomly. This skeleton is that of a cat, with some armor of its back, minus a tail. It will then get up with a veil of grey fire coating it like a layer of ghostly fur (and a ghostly tail) and its eyes will open to be a striking orange-yellow, much like those of the owner.

Doll Manifestation:
Next to Yamato:

Abilities: Its abilities lie within its power to create powerful illusions. These illusions, will allow the wielder to create an illusionary area where they can control every aspect of the environment (not the opponent's actions or powers). Cheshire Cat, in these environments will be a melee-type of Doll, and will be able to increase and decrease in size as needed. When an opponent is killed in the illusion, they will go unconscious in the real world, completely exposed to a kill. These illusions are perfect, because even if the opponent knows they are in an illusion there are only two ways to break out of the illusion, defeat the illusion Cheshire Cat, or die in the Illusion. This can be used on large groups of opponents, no actual limit in size, and they can even be placed in separate illusions. The more illusions there are, the more mental strain there is on Yamato. After a large squad of enemies, he would have trouble maintaining consciousness. These illusions last indefinitely, and for every illusion he creates at once, there is a 10 post cooldown. So taking on many enemies with a single illusion will be more difficult as far as battle goes, but less strenuous, and therefore have a shorter cooldown, by far, than taking on multiple enemies with 3 illusions. At 5 separate illusions, he would probably have taken enough mental strain to exhaust him. Once an illusion is broken out of, he cannot place it back on until the overall cooldown is complete (meaning he cannot place an illusion on a person who broke out of one of two illusions until he has lasted 20 posts without dying). Also, when an illusion is up, he has to focus on the illusion.

Description:

Name: Release Doll
Effect: Unleashes the power of Cheshire Cat, Yamato's Doll. While it is around, it will be able to create illusionary fields to which total control (of the fields not the opponent) is given to Yamato, while it fights the enemies inside the illusions themselves. Up to five can be made. These cannot be broken by any means except defeating Cheshire Cat in the illusions, or being defeated, even if they know it is an illusion. When defeated in the illusion, the opponent will become unconscious, this time completely. Outside the illusion while it is active, neither Yamato, nor the opponent can move, and they will appear locked in a stare off. The illusion is real-time, so however long goes on in the illusion goes on outside the illusion.
Duration / Cool Down: Lasts indefinitely (until ended)/ 10 post per illusion cooldown (maximum of 50 posts if 5 illusions are made)

Name: Core Form
Effect: Cheshire Cat's Core Form is that of a long (sword-long) 3-bladed Hachiwara knife. This weapon while being used, will give Yamato incredible skill with it. His reflexes and attack strength would become heightened as if he was trained all 400 of his long years to fight with it.
Duration / Cool Down: Indefinite duration; 3 post cooldown after each change-back.

Name: Zero
Effect: Creates the illusion of death in the opponent. This is different from the main ability to create an illusion where the opponent is entrapped in a completely new environment. This illusion, is imperfect, though it does force the enemy to believe they are dead for its duration. It requires that they leave an opening in their defense wide enough for them to be killed if the wrong thing happened to them. They don't have to be close, but death cannot be one of those random occurrences like an aneurysm, a heart attack, or a stroke, death would have to be at least somewhat probable, and related to an opening they gave. This illusion, when properly executed will leave an enemy in a blue-screen kind of state. This only works on one opponent at a time.
Ex: The opponent is sent barreling backwards after a severe clash. Yamato activates this technique seeing an opening wide enough for a probable death to happen. The opponent suddenly feels a sharp pain in their forehead, as they attempted to struggle to a stand, and they are dead, a sword through their skull. Out of illusion they are mid-way to standing up and suddenly unconscious, staring blankly out into space.
Duration / Cool Down: 1 post when activated, state lasts for 3 posts / 15 post cooldown

Cheshire Cat (Yamato's Doll) Empty

Since this is an illusion, i will ask these few questions.

I assume the illusion only takes effect when the opponent looks at you or is it the Cheshire Cat?

Will the opponent know if he's in an illusion or not? If yes, how?

Will you be inside of the Cheshire Cat's illusion like your fellow opponent? If yes, will you be knocked unconscious in the real world if you are killed in the illusion?

When you say "1 post when activated" in your Zero technique, do you mean 1 post to get this technique ready?

When you release the doll, 10 posts to be stuck in an illusion is way too long, I would suggest lowering it down to 4.
